Menu Standouts That Will Dazzle Your Taste Buds

Ceviche Selections: The ceviche trio is an absolute must-order starter for first-time visitors.

This Peruvian staple showcases the kitchen’s expertise with seafood, featuring fresh fish marinated in citrus with the perfect balance of acidity and spice.

For an elevated experience, splurge on the additional sauce for a few extra bucks. It transforms an already excellent dish into something extraordinary.

Tacu Tacu: This traditional Peruvian rice and bean dish reaches new heights at Lima.

The Shrimp Tacu Tacu has earned unanimous praise from diners, with its perfectly cooked seafood and complex flavors making it a standout entrée.

The Tacu Tacu Limeño and ribeye variations demonstrate the kitchen’s versatility in adapting this classic comfort food.

Seafood Mastery: The kitchen demonstrates exceptional skill with pretty much every seafood dish on the menu.

The grilled octopus is worth trying even if you’ve never had octopus. No rubbery-ness whatsoever

The calamari is also a similarly great choice to try for your first time here. Especially when topped with pickled red onions that add brightness to each bite.

Or for those who can’t decide, the seafood rice delivers an abundance of perfectly prepared treasures from the sea.

Appetizer Adventures: Begin your meal with the aji de gallina wontons – a creative fusion that wraps traditional Peruvian spiced chicken in crispy wonton wrappers.

The anticuchos (traditional Peruvian skewers) deliver bold flavors, while the Yucas Huancaina offers fried yuca with a smooth, mild yellow pepper sauce that provides an excellent introduction to Peruvian flavors.

Cocktail Program: No visit is complete without sampling the restaurant’s impressive selection of Pisco-based cocktails.

The classic Pisco Sour delivers a frothy experience that perfectly balances sweet, sour, and bitter notes. Or for something different maybe try their Pisco Old Fashioned, which puts a Peruvian spin on the timeless Old Fashioned.

Atmosphere & Dining

Indoor Elegance: The interior space strikes the balance between sophistication and comfort.

Clean lines, thoughtful lighting, and traditional Peruvian design elements create an upscale atmosphere that never feels too pretentious.

Outdoor Oasis: The patio dining area offers a particularly enchanting setting, especially in the evening.

I even found a review of someone who said they enjoyed their meals during thunderstorms, with the covered outdoor space providing a unique backdrop for the meal.

And to top it off, the outdoor space overlooks a lazy river. How tranquil.

Refined Service: The white linen service matches the elevated cuisine.

Whoever is taking your order is likely to be very in-tune with the menu offerings. So if you have questions, ask! They should be able to explain unfamiliar dishes and ingredients.

Other Considerations

Value Proposition: While not inexpensive, Lima offers good value given the quality of ingredients, preparation, and generous portion sizes.

Even just coming here for some drinks and appetizers can be pretty reasonable price-wise.

Semi-Hidden Location: The restaurant isn’t immediately visible from Tamiami Trail so keep an eye out for the signage.

Easy Parking Convenience: Unlike many Naples restaurants, Lima is at the back end of a quiet parking lot. So there should be loads of parking for you, no problem at any time.

Dessert Decisions: Opinions on desserts may vary, so I might suggest skipping dessert and going elsewhere for a dedicated dessert (if you have any sweet tooth cravings!).

The strawberry meringue is probably the dessert most worth trying, but overall I wouldn’t consider the desserts here as must-try items. They’re good, but the main food stands out on its own.
