Menu Highlights
Best of Fresh Local Seafood: The frequently updated menu highlights top-quality catches from the Gulf.
The grouper piccata stands out for sure, featuring tender fish served with a light lemon-caper sauce that complements the natural flavor of the fish.
Oyster Delights: The Rockefeller oysters are an absolute must-try at The Grand Marlin. They’re baked with a savory topping, and they deliver umami-rich flavor in every bite.
For a bolder option, the BBQ oysters feature a distinctive smoky taste that adds depth to this classic dish.
Expertly Prepared Fish: The menu features several standout seafood options, including expertly prepared grouper, red snapper, and yellowfin tuna.
For something more refined, the halibut special combines a tender fish fillet with sautéed wild mushrooms in a rich, velvety sauce.
Premium Steaks: Don’t miss the 1855 ribeye and prime cowboy steaks! They’re truly exceptional.
The salt crust forms a crisp exterior that locks in moisture, ensuring these cuts remain juicy and full of flavor.
Must-Try Sides: The truffle fries complement the steaks beautifully, while adding a touch of luxury with their rich, aromatic flavor.
They’d be the go-to side if you had to pick just one.
Although the buttery whipped potatoes are rich and creamy, the crisp green beans and asparagus offer a lighter contrast.

Creative Cocktails & Desserts
Refreshing Mixology: The bar has plenty of creative options to choose from. The mojito variations are particularly noteworthy, with blackberry, strawberry-mango, and pineapple versions being some of my favorites.
Decadent Desserts: The praline basket dessert is a true showstopper–it’s creative, elegant, and full of decadent textures.
For a classic option, you can’t go wrong with key lime pie for that perfect balance of tart and sweet.

Atmosphere & Setting
Waterfront Views: The restaurant’s location offers spectacular views of the Santa Rosa Sound, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your dining experience.
Understated Elegance: The interior features impressive touches like a barrel-vaulted ceiling and elegant banquettes, creating an upscale yet comfortable dining space.
There is also an outdoor patio you can enjoy if you prefer being seated outside where you can feel the ocean breeze.
Special Occasions: The Grand Marlin accommodates special celebrations and intimate gatherings. Their private dining spaces are just right for small to medium groups.

Other Considerations
Great Value: At $140 for two entrees and an appetizer, this is premium dining at a justifiable price point.
The quality of the food, generous portions, and exceptional dining experience are all excellent.
Reservations Recommended: Reservations are recommended if possible! Since it can get full during peak hours. Walk-ins may also be accommodated right at opening time, but tables are not guaranteed.
Allergy Accommodations: The kitchen can accommodate food allergies and any special requests you may have due to dietary restrictions.
Dress Code: The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance of “upscale casual”, making it appropriate for both special occasions and more relaxed vacation dining.
You’ll feel comfortable whether slightly dressed up or in resort casual attire.
