Gaming Heaven

Unlimited Play: For a single flat fee you get unlimited access to every game in the building. No quarters needed!

This means you can hop from machine to machine without having to use additional tokens.

Massive Selection: The variety is genuinely impressive, spanning generations of gaming history.

From classic cabinets like Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter, to modern racing simulators and immersive zombie shooters.

There’s something for every kind of player.

Pinball Paradise: Pinball enthusiasts will be delighted by the collection of machines available, with various themes and difficulty levels to test your skills.

Rhythm Game Central: Arcade Monsters houses multiple rhythm game options, including rare Japanese imports that are hard to find elsewhere in Florida!

True fans of dance & rhythm games will know that Japan has the best stuff. These can also be the most popular though, so if you come during peak hours you might have to wait a bit before getting a turn.

Retro Classics: The second floor is particularly nostalgic, featuring beloved titles from gaming’s golden era.

Nintendo fans will spot familiar favorites scattered throughout both floors, bringing back some fond childhood memories.

Food & Drinks

Casual Bites: The food menu offers satisfying arcade-friendly options like pizza, chicken nuggets, and loaded fries.

The food quality is typical arcade fare and is reasonably priced.

Themed Cocktails: The bar serves creative themed drinks that align with the arcade’s playful atmosphere.

The “Strawberry Starcraft-ita” was specifically mentioned in a few reviews online as a delightful option for Starcraft fans. I didn’t try it myself but it does come highly recommended!

Non-Alcoholic Options: Don’t drink? No problem!

The bar offers virgin versions of all their specialty cocktails, plus slushies and other refreshing beverages that kids and non-drinkers can enjoy.

Self-Serve Water: Free water is available via a self-serve station too. This is a thoughtful touch given how warm the arcade can get, and how easily you can work up a thirst on DDR.

Atmosphere & Décor

Visual Wonderland: The walls are adorned with floor-to-ceiling murals, neon lights, and gaming-inspired artwork that creates an immersive experience.

Even the bathrooms are decorated to match the arcade’s vibrant theme.

Two Expansive Floors: While it might look modest from the outside, the interior space is surprisingly vast. It spans two full floors packed with games and seating areas.

Instagram-Worthy: Hidden paintings, figures, and artistic touches are scattered throughout the venue. This creates almost countless photo opportunities for the gram.

Noise & Sensory Considerations: Be prepared for bright flashing lights and loud sounds. It is an arcade after all! So this is not the quietest environment to enter.

Other Considerations

Two-Tier Entry Options: There are different price points depending on whether you want the ability to leave and return on the same day. This is worth considering after you’ve visited at least once, but for a first visit it’s probably worth paying for just the flat rate.

Birthday Celebrations Available: For an extra fee you can reserve the space for a birthday party or private party.

Best Times to Visit: Weekday evenings, especially Mondays, can be remarkably quiet. So if you can get here during the week you could have a lot of machines to yourself.

Weekends and evenings tend to be much busier overall though.

Parking Situation: Located in a strip mall, parking is typically plentiful. Though you might need to search around for a spot on busier weekends.

Late Hours: Arcade Monsters is open every day from 10am to 2am so you can head here even late at night for a gaming fix before heading home.
