Garp & Fuss is an American fusion restaurant and bar occupies a historic 3,800-square-foot space featuring five distinct rooms.
It offers a space that somehow manages to feel both intimate and wide-reaching at the same time.
Established in 2018 by sisters Nikki Nielsen and Liz Zucco (whose nicknames inspired the restaurant’s unique name), Garp & Fuss has quickly become a local favorite. And it’s one of those places you’ll have to try to believe.

Menu Standouts
The Fuss: This signature chicken sandwich is a flavor explosion featuring fried chicken, hot honey, marinated cucumber, arugula, boss sauce, and blueberry relish.
The sweet and savory combination creates a perfect harmony that will have you dreaming about it long after your visit.
The Garp: This Italian beef creation comes topped with spicy giardiniera and a side of au jus for dipping. The tender beef and bold flavors make this a must-try for sandwich enthusiasts.
Boozy Burger: This burger lives up to its name with incredible flavor combinations that you won’t find anywhere else.
The perfect cook and secret sauce elevate this beyond your standard burger experience.
Fig & Goat Burger: Here’s a standout among the other options on the menu. This burger incorporates fig and goat cheese for a sophisticated flavor profile that’s both unique and delicious.
Steak Frites: You can’t go wrong with a fantastic cut of steak paired with crispy truffle fries–it’s a classic dish done right.
Craft Cocktails: The bar program deserves special mention with creative concoctions like the “Don’t Kill My Vibe” and “Good Ol’ Thyme” stealing the show.
Expect strong and flavorful drinks that complement the food beautifully.

Appetizers Worth Fighting Over
Giant Pretzel: True to its name, this enormous pretzel arrives with mustard and beer cheese for dipping. It’s a great starter that somehow manages to disappear quickly despite its size.
Burrata: Fresh and refreshing, this creamy cheese appetizer offers a light start to your meal that won’t weigh you down before the main course.
Mangia: This house specialty features marinara and homemade ricotta with toasted baguette for dipping. The simple ingredients showcase quality and flavor.
Mussels: It’s no surprise these mussels are a hit! They’re rich, savory, and leave seafood lovers coming back for more.
Buffalo Cauliflower: Here’s a vegetarian delight that doesn’t skimp on flavor. These spicy bites provide all the satisfaction of wings in a plant-based package.
Korean Tacos: These fusion creations are a testament to the restaurant’s innovative approach to familiar favorites, blending Korean flavors with a classic format.

Atmosphere That Sets It Apart
Hidden Location: Located down an alley off Park Avenue, it feels like discovering a secret spot known only to locals. You can definitely find it fairly easily but the mystique does add to the vibe.
Multiple Dining Spaces: With five distinct rooms, each visit can feel like a different experience.
From the full-service bar to the smaller dining areas there is a perfect spot for any occasion.
The Greenhouse Room: This atrium-like space with a glass ceiling creates a magical dining environment that makes you feel like you’re dining in a cozy bubble.
Game Room: For a more casual vibe you might check out the game room, complete with a pool table and lots of room. It’s great for passing time while waiting for your table or enjoying a more relaxed meal.
Cozy Lighting: The ambient lighting throughout the space creates an atmosphere that works equally well for a casual night out with friends or a romantic date night, or even for a small family meal.

Other Considerations
Pricing: While not inexpensive, it’s not the cheapest option either. Though I don’t think you’ll be upset when the bill comes.
Reservations: Reservations are highly recommended for weekend evenings, but the restaurant does accommodate walk-ins for sure. Even during busy times the wait is typically reasonable.
Parking Options: Free street parking is available right across from the restaurant! And there’s also a public parking garage just a quick five-minute walk away.
The garage typically has plenty of spaces available starting on the fourth level.
Portion Sizes: Expect generous servings that are big enough for sharing.
Best For: While perfect for date nights, Garp & Fuss also accommodates larger groups with ease. The varied menu ensures that even picky eaters will find something to enjoy.
Sweet Finale: Save room for the Florida Orange cake or the cheesecake. There’s plenty of great dessert options here if you have a sweet tooth!
